NuSEARCH app for iPhone and iPad

The NuSEARCH application created by Nufern is an interactive user friendly search engine that
allows users to search all the fiber product offerings of Nufern. Users can search by specific product numbers, by partial product numbers, or by a variety of search parameters including fiber core size, type of fiber (e.g. active or passive), type of active dopant, type of passive fiber, operating wavelength, whether the fiber is polarization maintaining, and whether the fiber is single-mode or multi-mode. In addition, the search application allows users to enter a range of parameters providing more versatility in finding fibers specific to their applications. Once a specific fiber or number of different fibers is identified, the user can view the data sheets for each and every fiber. The application also includes a “compare function” that allows one to compare specific data parameters for a number of different fibers. NuSEARCH also includes a number of technical papers and product brochures available for viewing.
The application is intuitive and easy to use. In a matter of a minute a user can narrow down their search of over 300 fiber products to the specific fibers that interest them. Nufern offers this application free and customers will find it a very useful tool to find the fiber(s) they need and/or identify possible fibers suitable to their specific input parameters.
